I (or whoever) can fill this out with all the normal stuff you'd see in contributing.md later. just making this as a reaction to: #204 (comment) Not the best formatting, but just wanted to get these thoughts down real quick & then get back to work-work

I think this is good. Might make more sense to add it as a section to the README.md file though for clarity and organization, especially since we have a section in the README for new developers. |
