Would instant interruption cause any problems with comfyui itself or pc (hardware or software wise) ?

There is a cancel button but it waits for the current step and / or model loading sometimes , sometimes whole node keep it from stopping , now since there is a way to just stop the generation via "api.interrupt()" , my concern is will it cause problems with files (maybe corrupt them ?) or can we use it if able ?
