Garbled output

The following output was produce when using nRF52840. The standard Contiki LOG statement are used. The command used to see the log is:

make TARGET=nrf52840 PORT=/dev/ttyACM0 login

Before things get grabbed, the output in Terminal would look as it should. For example:

However, after a while of letting the code run, it would garble:

In another example, a sequence of LOG messages that normally look like

Would garble into

The log data is required for research. Is there a reliable method to get the LOG output?

Is that typical on Nordic (the problem occurs on both the DK and Dongle) or other motes?

Have anyone seen this before? Is there a better way than using the default Ubuntu Terminal to view the output of a running device?

I found the cause. Changing the window size causes this garbled output.
