These features i mention next, should be definetly added after main features of 1.18.2 are done!

Better Storm Proggression System/ Better Storm Structure:
Storm cell should consist of one updraft and one downdraft

Updrafts

Updrafts should appear in front of storm and it should not have precipitation beneath, and low wind.
Updrafts will be characterised by low, dark clouds which quickly fly up into storm
Updrafts will have strength and they will "feed" storm, while storm's updraft is alive, storm will grow
Stronger updraft is: Faster storm grows
When High Wind Starts, Updrafts Starts To Rotate

Downdrafts

Downdrafts should appear at back of storm, they will precipitate, and have powerful winds
Downdrafts will be characterised by flat, dark cloud base, precipitation, wind
Downdrafts will have strength too.
Stronger Downdraft, bigger precipitation
If Downdraft Stronger Than Updraft, Updraft Will Die
If There is no updraft, Downdraft will slowly die

drafts

Shelf Clouds

Shelf clouds are quite dramatic irl, and they mean that powerful straight line wind storm is about to hit you.
Shelf clouds are located in transition between storm's updraft and downdraft
Shelf clouds could be done by spawning angled particles in front of storm / between updraft, downdraft
While Shelf Cloud Will Pass Over Player, Sharp Wind Increase Will Happen
Shelf clouds will appear in growing storms in front of them / between updraft, downdraft

Storms with embedded shelf clouds will have straight line winds (Which means wind will blow out storm in one direction)

shelf

Weather Fronts

Weather Fronts Will Appear Randomly On Map And Randomly Move
Weather Fronts Will Trigger Weather Events To Form

Warm Fronts:
They will spawn mostly at warm biomes,
They will be characterised by dense clouds slowly dropping at height
When front will pass by, wind will be low, clouds will be low, and precipitation will begin to fall
After front, passed by weather will stay cloudy for some time

warm_front

Cold Fronts
They will spawn mostly at oceans, cold biomes
They will be more "agressive" than warm fronts
They will be characterised by high clouds, and a lot of cloud development
A LOT of storms will spawn ahead of cold front and move with it
ALL storms that spawned with cold front will have shelf clouds ahead
After cold front passed by weather will stay mostly clear for some time

cold_front

Occluded Fronts
These are more complex😅
They appear when cold front "overtakes" warm front
They move slowly.
As fronts starts pass by firstly you'll see clouds slowly decsend
Than little rain will start, after what suddenly line of storms similarly to cold front will hit
Winds while front passing will be crazy and unstable and have cyclonic-movement
After front passed by clear weather will stay for some time

occluded_front

Stationary Fronts
They appear when warm front "overtakes" cold front
This front doesn't move
As front passes by cloudy, rainy weather will start, a long side with medium winds
After front passed by semi-cloudy weather will stay for some time

sounds like cool idea but it might be to much for him to implement

I agree. We should limit how many suggestions we post here until he's actually got weather2 fully working the way he wants it. It's his project not ours ^^

Bruh, at beginning of suggestion i said about this

I am aware, but this forum is primarily for issues. Opening a new issue just for suggestions covers up those with real issues and makes them harder to find.

But can't just Coro add tags?

Coro is doing this by himself, and stacking his plate higher isn't really helpful to get updates and bug fixes done faster. While I'm sure he appreciates the suggestions and feedback, it makes the repo more messy and takes more time for him to go through and actually find the real bug reports. There's only so much he can do by himself, which is why I'm trying to get people to close their issues once they're resolved.

As a side note, you might be able to add the tags yourself? I'm not too keen on if that's set up on this repo or not.

Sadly there are no tags available on this repo

Update: It does not seem that labels can be self assigned here, so I can understand now why so many people are just opening suggestions without tagging them as suggestions. Do forgive my ignorance.

that's what i'm talking of, Coros should add tags, rn only thing that suggestors can do is add: "[SUGGESTION]" mark at beginning

Yup, that's what I'm doing with my bug reports too.
