i've been following the guidelines of ASHRAE and Mitchell Paulus on calculating values of air humidity. He takes 273.15 K as the reference temperature and shows that all the equations mentioned in ASHRAE are correct. he doesn't use the psychrometric constant at all as instead of densities, he uses pressures. If i use the function psyc_cons offered by you i see that you use a different reference temperature of 293.15 K which renders the psychrometric constant pretty different as given in https://doi.org/10.1088/0959-5309/45/2/314. Please explain the bacground of your reasoning for the constants of psyc_cons and prove that your function delivers the correct coefficient. i mean coefficient as it isn't a constant in any way because it depends on the atmospheric pressure.
