The Demon Sword Master Of Excalibur Academy has a wrong episode count. This started with episode 2.

Episode 8 just aired today, 20 Nov, but it says Episode 10 airs in 6 days. Each week it has been 1 off.

I don’t think it’s an issue with the app itself. The episode release date shown is typically the official release date in Japan, but you can in many cases find it leaked early on pirated anime sites. Vice versa, it takes extra time for the English sub version to be released. Same with manga. Another thing that frequently happens is that the next episode of an anime gets pushed back due to delays in production so it is appropriately updated on AniList.
