When I set up my local install with Vagrant (10up Varrying Vagrant Vagrants to be exact) no sync with the server happens. It's able to see the server after I set up the key and I can match projects with the server ones, but then none of the entries work.

It does work under MAMP and I've done a bunch of switching domains around to make sure that I wasn't having any conflicts with domain names. I can set up the same name under MAMP and Vagrant with MAMP working and Vagrant not.

That sounds like a server/routing/configuration issue, not a software issue. Please re-open if a verifiable code fix is found.
