play a card

There are three types of cards to play:

• Creatures
• Spells
• Items

A player can only move one piece each turn.

When a creature is placed on the board from the players' hand, it is bewildered and can do nothing except defend itself until the start of the players next turn.

However, a creature will always defend when attacked, even on the turn that it was played onto the board.
