Monument

A monument is a building with stats 5/0/0.

Each player can have at most one monument on the board at any time. Players can attack their own monuments.

Before creating a monument, a player must have a Church or a Crypt.

Each monument type allows for research.

Monument Types

1. A Statue of their King. Status is raised in groups strength of their pieces.
2. An Effigy of their King. Effigies raise individual strength pieces, sometimes at the detriment to groups.
3. A Monolith has effects on both the player's and opponents' pieces and buildings and has no direct effect on groups.

Gameplay

1. Each monument has different effects for all pieces on the board.
2. Monuments buff or debuff certain pieces of theirs or their opponents.
3. Monuments can only be played after turn 5 of the game.
