Doesn't work (again)

So here I am again, trying to figure out what went wrong.

So as a little background info: I tried to install and use this addon before on my laptop, but it would do nothing except auto-attack.
When I did /fury ability Rend - it would say 'Rend not found', the same for other abilities.

Then after downloading it multiple times and replacing the file in the addons folder it worked as by magic. Somehow, that made it work.

Now I'm on my desktop and want to continue to use the addon, but I've run into the exact same problem, except for that I've downloaded and replaced it over 10 times now and it still doesn't work.

I don't know what I did then to solve it, but it doesn't seem to work now.

All it does when i do /fury is auto-attack.
/fury charge does nothing.
/fury ability says it cant find the ability (yes I use capitalization)

I've run out of ideas and options of how to get this to work.

I removed -master from the file name.
Haven't touched anything or messed with files inside.
Just dropped the whole map in the addons folder.

Any advice is welcome.

Haven't experienced the problem You describe. Can You check if there are errors when starting wow, try disable other addons and just have Fury enabled. If no errors try enable /fury debug paste the log from output window here, when you are doing a /fury charge and /fury

Issue is, there's nothing for me to paste. When I spam /fury nothing happens and /fury charge does nothing but activate auto attack. It only auto attacks, only thing Debug says is:

Fury: 52. Rage: 0

Then something like Flurry 17% after the mob dies from being auto attacked to death. This is what my combat log looks like while spamming /fury

Do you see '52. Rage: 0' once or several times? is it always Rage: 0? Cause if rage is always zero then fury won't use any abilities. But I don't understand why UnitMana("player") returns zero always, it doesn't happen on vanillagaming server.

The numbers seem to change but only at the start of combat. I got Fury: 52. Rage: 98 as well
edit it did report another time during combat

So rage works, can You upload the fury.lua in the WTF folder WTF/Account//SavedVariables/Fury.lua
Maybe it can give a clue why it doesn't work for You.

I managed to fix it by putting the newest version in the addons map (as you do with addons), removing -master from the folder name, then launching and logging into my warrior, exitting game, log back in to warrior, exiting game (basically launch and close the game multiple times with logging in to the warrior), then do /fury talents so he scans everything, then I (maybe, cant remember exactly) did /fury default to just get config back to default, then maybe /fury talents again so he scans.

Anyways you get the idea of what I was kinda trying to do.
That fixed it for me (i think).

I'm currently a lvl 31 warrior and it seems to work quite well.

I hope this info helps for other people running into this problem.

Are the abilities you're looking for like Rend etc somewhere on your actionsbars?
They need to be on any of your action bars so he can scan / find them when you do /fury talents

If the answer is yes then I dont have any further ideas to help you out I'm afraid.

Good to here @Rudikuul , nice that You are up and running, sounds like the voodoo helped you. Regarding abilities, not all are needed on action bars, You need a spell from each range limit to be on action bars for distance calculations. If distance calculations are messed up charge can come into situations where it doesn't do the job.

For 30 yard
Shoot or Throw

For 25 yard
Charge or intercept

For 10 yard
Thunder Clap

For 5 Yard
Any of the close combat spells, like Sunder Armor, Overpower, Pummel, Rend ....

So You shouldn't need more than 4 ish abilities on Your bars. If You don't want to press them manually of course.

When You do a /fury talents spell book and action bars are scanned, it reports an error if a spell of a specific range is missing. (At low levels You might come into situation where You don't have a spell in every range class and it's OK).

@Capn55 Can't see anything wrong in the Your settings try use this /fury talents it might help.

@cubenicke Yeah, I've done just about every combination people could think of, even just random methods that Rudikuul tried. I've been using /fury talents and /fury default combinations before even posting here. Have tried clearing action bars, dropping stuff back on. Disabling addons, only using Fury, clearing my WDB folder and even resetting my WTF with a fresh install. I've also tried another server. I play on Kronos 3 as my main server, but I tried testing it with a fresh install on Light's Hope as well. I've even tried different game client downloads, links from Kronos, Nostalrius, and Light's Hope. Could... the servers be blocking it?

I created a toon on Kronos3 and can confirm that Fury doesn't work as intended. Will look into it when I find the time.

A little return... So the problem I have is that even if I put the macro fury or what's written there, it doesn't want to work. I spam but nothing is done. I don't understand why:/.

I've tested on Kronos3 and on vanillagaming and it works for me..
I created a toon, keybind F to Fury and Q to Charge.
When i leveled an learned charge I had to /fury talents to make charge work.
Otherwise it worked for me. So what server are you testing on @alexmr06

I'm on a server already ready 60 ( I'm redoing my hand ahah for soon) It's retrowow. Sinn so I created the macro /fury and when I use it it I made a mistake or sometimes nothing at all. Or maybe I'm skipping a few things... Can you detail what to create as a macro:) that I see.

Try first go into keybinding and bind a key to the addon Fury -> Attack... Then we reduce the risk that You have mistake in macros....

I'm totally lost ^^. as much for me. Would you agree to link me the macros that they would have to do ^^. Knowing that ( I forgot to say it) on the last one you updated, I can't even interact with the addon functions. Whereas if I go back to the one I had linked above I can.

I saw the video, however I still don't understand why I can't access the toogle of the addon ^^. Normally if I do /fury help or /fury toggle some things have to be done ^^ but nothing. And so as I said earlier if I take over the first addon it works. So I don't understand why ^^
