I am installing HTMLy on my server.

  1. I download and GET online-install.php.
  2. I fill out the form and click submit.
  3. The form posts to /add/content?type=post but this gives 404 not found.

Additional notes:

  • There is no directory /add under the HTMLy installation root so it's not entirely suprising that the server returned 404. Am I missing something here?
  • I'm running nginx 1.18.0 on Ubuntu. PHP is the latest version.
  • Site configuration is done per the example on the git home page.

Try the manual mode by copying all files and folders and then running it. Use the previous versions if you face issue with the new releases.

Thanks vdbhb. I ended up going with Chyrp for now, but I hope that you get the bugs ironed out because I like the ides of a flat-file CMS for low volume sites.
