From Dart Editor user feedback:

acessing imageData is way too slow in the dart vm making it impossible to troubleshoot my code because it must be compiled to js to be able to run at a reasonable speed

We don't expose typed arrays yet. We'll address that really soon.

Sorry, due to limited resources we decided to defer proper typed arrays support after M1.

Removed this from the M1 milestone.
Added this to the Later milestone.

Based on our discussion earlier this week I am adjusting this priority. Typed array support keeps coming back over and over again. See issue #5661.

As an experiment ImageData.data has been switched to Uint8ClampedList from dart:scalarlist, so performance should be better.
