The ability for users to set up site-to-site teleportation would be a great quality of life feature for the project. There is opportunity for monetization as well.
Users with non-congruent parcels could easily move between their properties.
Users with property in high traffic areas could partner with users in slower areas to advertise their parcel and drive traffic directly to them.
Plots of land that share a theme, but are non-congruent, could band together to create teleport groups (anyone remember web-rings?).
Were the market to arise, you could literally have "travel sites" pop up that offered a guided tour of certain parts of decentraland.
Obviously there would be a lot to be worked out. Each owner would have to agree to the teleportation parameters (length of contract, fees if applicable), and there might even be an additional market for people willing to facilitate this.
