Just opening this issue to note that I've opened some discussion of using Padmé as a padding format in the 'age' file encryption tool. See FiloSottile/age#83 .

Is the code in this dedis/purb repo available under an open source license? I couldn't find a clear reference to a license for the code.

Most of the code in DEDIS is under AGPL, some under LGPL or MPL2... As this is a library, it should probably be under LGPL or MPL2. @jeffallen ?

Hi @colmmacc! Thanks for pointing this out. We are considering using the same BSD 3-Clause license as Age does. Would it be suitable for you?

In any case, if you want to use the code we'll make sure that license compatibility is not a reason not to. :)
