This is a toplevel issue to track the things that we need to do before we can ship Deis v2 Beta:

Project Release

Project Organization (began from #4952)

• rename deis/workflow -> deis/controller
  • ref(deis): rename deis charts to workflow charts#157 (orig. issue: Rename charts from deis-* to workflow-* charts#126)
  • rename deis-dev components from deis-* to * charts#155
• rename deis/docs-v2 -> deis/workflow
  • ensure we have links to all components from README

Project Quality

• get e2e tests green
• fix/address ps:restart scenarios resulting in 503 controller#522
• Document how to configure the database to backup to S3 (fixed by docs(installing-deis): add docs on database config workflow#100)
• Document what secrets to change in order to change credentials (fixed by doc(object-storage): add sections on configuring secrets for the helm chart workflow#104)
• Document how to configure the minio-user secret for the controller (fixed by doc(README.md): add documentation on configuring the controller for object storage workflow#102)
• README updates
  • take out cookie cutter text
  • take out "danger: alpha" text + references

• Retag git-sha docker images to deis org + tag with v2.0.0-beta1
  • e.g. quay.io/deis/controller:v2.0.0-beta1
• Tag all components' git repositories with ^^ sha as v2.0.0-beta1
  • e.g. controller.git tag == v2.0.0-beta1
• Cut workflow-beta1 chart
