@arschles did you see the comment against the host path in http://kubernetes.io/docs/user-guide/persistent-volumes/#types-of-persistent-volumes saying it will not work for multi node cluster which makes sense because what if the pod is restarts on another node

@kmala yep, saw that. IIRC this was a proof of concept, with the idea being that it could be extended to a single-replica minio server backed by a persistent disk (such as GCEPersistentDisk).

Anyway, since this was a proof of concept and it's not really rational to run it in production (as you said), objections to closing?
