Crash on startup - Bug #77
Comments
Hi! Thanks for opening this issue :) Could you provide me the content of your stats.cache file? It is located in here: Best regards |
Quick workaround would be to delete the content of Appdata/Roaming/TraXile which will cause TraXile to reload the logfile. But if you did a lot of custom tagging or manual pauses, this metadata will be lost unfortunately. |
stats.cache before I deleted the folder. Deleting seems to have fixed the issue, thanks! |
Was the last line really incomplete or just a copy / paste error? If it was like that -> That was the issue and should be fixed in 0.7.5 release. If an error occurs while reading the file, the cache will be re-calculated out of the database. By the way: Great issue with just the right information in it, thanks for that :) |
That was the full content of the file exactly as I found it. I only knew what to put thanks to another bug report I read about crashing on startup, so thanks for providing good instructions. |
Fixed with 0.7.5 |
I am having crashes on startup. I had the application running until about yesterday or the day before and then possibly an update occurred and it broke.
I pulled some errors from the latest crash from Windows Event Viewer
