Operating system and version: Windows 10 22H2
Legendary version (legendary -V): version "0.20.34", codename "Direct Intervention"
Expected Behavior
(context: I have an alias set up for 6c227b0fac70445aae645f0d601dc5d2, called "PSO2".)
When running legendary.exe install PSO2, Legendary goes through the update procedure as normal.
I am able to launch the game and play.
Current Behavior
After performing legendary.exe install PSO2, files were found to download as expected, and I proceeded to install.
However, upon attempting to launch the game, I was told (by Legendary) that the game was out of date.
So, I ran legendary.exe install PSO2 once again, and it did not find any files to update.
Launching the game with legendary.exe launch PSO2 --skip-version-check launched the game, but I could not connect to the game servers as my client was out of date (specifically indicated by an error message inside the game client.)
I ultimately resolved the issue by doing a full legendary.exe install PSO2 --force but that was very time consuming and I would prefer not to have to do that again.
Steps to Reproduce
I have not tested for reproducibility. However, I can tell you the steps that created the problem.
Install PSO2 through Legendary (no EGS or Tweaker)
Wait for the game to issue an update (happens every 2 weeks or so)
Attempt to update the game with legendary.exe install 6c227b0fac70445aae645f0d601dc5d2
Attempt to launch the game with legendary.exe launch 6c227b0fac70445aae645f0d601dc5d2
