test.html doesn't work?

I want to use this script, but as a test I first ran test.html (in the same folder as jquery.ui.chatbox.css and jquery.ui.chatbox.js), but the only thing I get is "It will not work untill necessary scripts and stylesheets are properly loaded, check out the code." and a button saying "toggle".

I've tried a bunch of different browsers, but to no avail.

Does anybody know what I can do to make this work? All tips are welcome!
