Feature request: download URL as alternative to SCM checkouts

el-get fails when a recipe uses a SCM method for which the binary tool is not installed (and the error message is not very helpful).
A fall back HTTP method URL would be useful in case the user cannot/does not want to install yet another SCM tool.

Well it seems to me fall back is as easy as overriding the recipe, right?

Well, sure… but often you need to google to get that URL, and since recipe authors will do the research of how to best install the package anyway, they could gather that info as well.

That still sounds like another recipe entirely, but yeah, why not include fall back recipes into the recipe files? If you care to prepare a patch I'll integrate it after the awaited 1.1 :)
