I'm using WinSCP to be exact, and I'm on the latest version for the Wii U in North America.
5.5.6, for the Wii U. I'm currently using the Tiramisu exploit to load the Homebrew launcher.
I did NOT download it from the Homebrew App Store, I downloaded it from here. (this will open in your current tab.)

When trying to use WinSCP to write, It fails.

While reading works fine, writing comes up with a strange error, Wii U side & My Computer side.

WinSCP shows an error that looks like this:

it would look WAYYY better if github didn't screw things up

Although it's not written to the SD card AT ALL, it still says success for some reason.
Even if you don't get to fixing this issue, at least make it say "Error: Write Permissions not found." or something like that.

Okay, We've established that write access doesn't work, Now how do you fix it???

1. You could make the anonymous user (which is what this website tells you to use) have write access.

2. Make a custom user that has read & write access that you need to use

3. if you already have an account that has read and write access then tell people the passcode!

4. pee your pants and wing it until it works (least effective)
