in my (last) version of the D2, avatars cannot modify their profiles. i have no idea where to begin to look for how to fix this...since i'm using my grid as an extension of my novel, it is important to me to give the avatars proper identities...would be grateful for a hint!

Profiles are not supported in OpenSim.
I'm planning to add a very simple profile support in the near future in D2. It won't be like SL profiles; it will be just About and Image, nothing else.
