Problems installing mods/packs

I wanted to use this to install Volcano Block, but ran into several issues which made it a lot harder.

I first tried to just use the tool to install it, but it wasn't able to find the modpack (entered as volcano-block similar to how other modpacks are named).
I checked the list of mod packs and it wasn't listed at all. When checking I noticed that it only lists 15265 modpacks, even though over 16000 exist on curseforge.

So I then tried using the URL, but it then said that pack.zip was not a valid zip file.
So I then manually downloaded the zip file from curseforge, then extracted it into the folder and tried again.
It mostly worked however 4 mods failed to download.

They were xencraft, vaultopic-early-inventory-management, barrels-drums-storage-more and telepastries.

I don't know why these wouldn't be in the list, especially as they were released before other mods that downloaded fine.

After finding these mods through another tool, I was able to download them and put them in the mods folder and manually copy over the overrides and it appears to be working.

Just to provide an update now that I tried installing on a new computer. It seems I used the wrong url before, so that part isn't actually an issue. However the rest is, and I still needed to manually add a few mods.

I'm unable to find this mod using mod.list, perhaps the same issue? https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/yungs-better-caves

Even when adding to manifest.json manually, mcdex claimed to be unable to find it.

This is fixed in 0.10.4; the crawled database wasn't getting updated correctly. :)
