No logs generating, Error while upscaling

I am trying to upscale a video and it keeps saying "Error while upscaling"

No logs are being generated but a folder was made.

Specs:
CPU: Core i7-9750H
Mem: 32gb
GPU: 3080 via Thunderbolt

Yes and I identified the issue to be a faulty avi file however I am still running into issues. Like I can see all the frames are upscaled but then it does not piece them back together. Thoughts?

In this version i builded the app as "portable" and the logfile is stored where the .exe exstracts the app before running it, that is difficult to find, however the reason why the app goes in error should trigger a window explaining the problem, you cant't see this window? Sometimes it can appears under other window

It is running very slow. Like 1 minute per frame. Any ideas on how to increase speed?

1 minute per frame is a lot.
Did you selected the 3080? or the integrated gpu of your intel i7?
The file you are upscaling what resolution is it?

Video is 672x512. I selected 3080 and I can see it is using it. Upscaling to 70%

mh, the resolution is low so the upscale shoul be ~5 to 10 seconds for frame.
I suppose is a thunderbolt limitation.
If you try maibe a single image with both your gpus to see the speed difference

this happens when you don't have enough space in your drive :(

Sadly, there is still no system for recovering a failed upscaling, but I'm working on it
