Alright, it's probably not an issue , but I am curious about the proper way to compile dwl on non-systemd distro (I use devuan). I tried more than twice and end up error. Surprisingly , when I use compiled binary (I compiled it on Arch) on my devuan , it works. Any advice? Thanks.
P.s : the error I faced was 'WLR_KEY_PRESSED' undeclared blablabla (I'm sorry if it's not too detail).

Sounds like you are compiling against the wrong version of wlroots for the branch you have checked out (see "Building dwl" in the README).
