Would be neat to use my Runner as a tiny mobile GPS for the laptop (gpsd or the like)
Was wondering if TomTom supported this at all. I haven't been able to find anything via the BLE commands (unless it's hidden behind an unnamed characteristic)

It'd be great if all GPS watches offered a USB/BLE-tethered GPS data acquisition feature like this.
Unfortunately, it's not possible as far as I know.
There's no known way to activate the GPS, or to record the current positional data from the GPS, via BLE. Also no known way to do it via USB (see https://github.com/ryanbinns/ttwatch). If there were a known way to do it via USB, there's a good chance we could figure out how to do it via BLE too.
