Original Savannah ticket 6992 reported by mcinquil on Tue Jun 3 06:59:44 2008.

Need to make possible to retrieve the logging info file from the server with the -postMortem option of crab client side.

Now on the server side the logging-info file is taken into account by the GetOutput component also for the re-bounce. Code on CVS.

Still need to:

  • do the client side
  • integrate c-s

Fully working, client and server side -code in HEAD/CVS.

Just one more staff to decide.
The actual implementation cleans the logging.info file on the server from the client once the file is successfully retrieved. This implies that:

  • the server does not know when the client retrieves the logging.info
  • if the client does not retrieve the file, this one rest on the server and with some protocol could happen this will not allows to rewrite on an existing file (eg: if at the second resubmission the jobs will abort once more the logging.info could not be overwritten if the one before has not be retrieved-deleted).
