I just installed mChat 0.1.2 last night. I made a board announcement that it was installed, that it was beta, and to report any bugs.
A few users reported that after going into mChat, then hitting HOME, that they could see the MCP. Clicking on the MCP they could only (I think) see the logs.
I logged in using a test account and could not reproduce.
Some of my users have their own blog space of which I give them MCP access to their own forum to do whatever they want. Possibly there is a correlation with this as my test account has no MCP access anywhere. I tried multiple times and could not reproduce the issue. I'll find some time to test this theory out by creating a blog and giving MCP access to it for my test account. I'll report back in the future.
Since my board is a small member only board with trusted members, I've decided not to rip out mChat as the security risk is minimal.
DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION:
PHPBB v3.1.5 is in use.
I've attached screen shots of the mChat config as well as the advanced permissions of "Registered Users" of which everyone is a member. No custom groups on my board.
Thanks in advance on all your efforts.
If you need anymore information or QA testing from me, feel free to ask
Bill
