Custom Actions

Custom actions can be accessed once the search is complete and at least 1 file is returned. These actions are available by clicking ">>" (custom actions) button.

Custom actions allow to perform advance actions on the files returned from search. These actions include "Copy files", "Move files", "Delete files".

Note: These actions can not be reverted using "Undo" command.

In addition to file actions:

  • "File names to clipboard" command will copy file names returned by the search to clipboard.
  • "Copy results" will copy the matched lines to the clipboard.
  • "Save results..." command will save the search results in three different formats - CSV (Excel) and two text report formats.
  • "Report options..." will open a dialog set the format of the Text and CSV reports. See Report options
