Unable to login to Docker Cloud

Username & password not accepted. Same username & password work on cloud.docker.com

1. Open Docker Cloud login dialog

To add some more info, it seems to be related to the password of my docker cloud account. If I have a password with special characters (!@#$%^&*:;'") it doesn't let me log in. If I change my password to a strictly alphanumeric one, it does work.

I ran into this issue on Version 17.06.2-ce-mac27 (19124). @akilleen's solution worked for me.

I'm using Version 17.06.2-ce-mac27 (19124) with a pure alphanumeric password, and I can't logon either.

Any fix time for this, it sure is frustrating and makes docker for Mac unusable for pushing etc.

Hi,

I still have this problem. Mine is little bit unique, I guess.

1. I can login to hub.docker.com and cloud.docker.com from the browser.
2. I can login to Docker MAC (Version 18.03.1-ce-mac65 (24312) ) from my personal MAC laptop.
3. However, I cannot login to Docker MAC from my office laptop (both from Docker icon in task menu and from CLi). My password is alphanumeric.
4. I can login through browser even in office MAC.

I'm not sure what is happening here? Any help?

Exact same issue as @JoshVazq, @Algohash and @inaw-tihor; just installed version 18.03.1-ce-mac65 (24312) on Mac with OSX 10.13.5, can only login with browser. Tried changing my password to alphanumerical only, got an error, tried again - worked. Still no login on desktop client though.

Hoping someone has a fix soon...

@JoshVazq @inaw-tihor @carmenandreia Do you have the right binary at /usr/local/bin/docker-credential-osxkeychain ? The alphanumeric password issue has been fixed for a long time.

Also, do you see anything in the Docker logs when you try to login?

Still an issue. Can log into the web application, but not through the GUI.

I was having this issue as well on my Mac, I could login through the browser but not the desktop GUI. My password was alphanumeric then I changed it to just contain alphabets and then it worked. Strange.

I tried not to use capital letters in passwords.
