No, thanks are not enough! :) please improve documentation, and remove RedHat specifics ("Using iso-scan/filename with a Fedora/Red Hat/CentOS Live iso" in dracut.cmdline(5)). I use Gentoo-based Calculate Linux and references to RedHat in docs misguide me! |

Oh, this article doesn't contain description of I don't want to act like monkey by repeating instructions. But I don't want perform full reverse engeneering also. That is what documentation for. |

You are right, the dmsquash module has not been documented at all. |
I don't want create one. I want to have one more menu entry on my desktop system, which will boot emergency LiveCD. I have a readymade .iso, and no documentation to write grub.cfg entry. Distribution maintainers send me to upstream. |

from #dracut @freenode
15:04 where is to read about kernel line parameters for initramfs from dracut?
15:24 i.e. where is "dracut.cmdline(5)" on the web ?
15:25 I don't see such file in source code - https://github.com/haraldh/dracut
15:26 but this page references it - https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/boot/dracut/dracut.html#_boot_parameters
15:29 there is dracut.cmdline(7), I think this is a typo and there is no dracut.cmdline(5) (as 5 is for config files)
