I have installed the plugin and placed a tex.hsnips file in the respective directory (opening with the command HyperSnips: Open Snippets Directory but the snippets don't expand. The file contents:

snippet norm "norm" Ai
\|$1\| $0
endsnippet

What am I doing wrong?
