til - Today I Learned

A collection of the most useful things I learned as a developer (not added in the order I learned them). Keeping track of them helps me retain more and makes it easier to share the knowledge with other devs that can benefit from it. I love to learn so please let me know if you spot any mistakes or I missed something. Feel free to share anything you find useful.

This repo is inspired by the @jbrandchaud/til repo and the Learning in Public idea/movement.

FAQ

  • You really didn't learn this until today? How can you be a working developer and not know this?
    • As a self-taught developer and long-time coding meetup attendee/organizer, I try to share a mix of fundamentals and more specialized knowledge. Fundamentals to have a broader appeal and it can make a significant difference for multiple devs. One goal for this repo is to make it easy to share useful info with devs I interact with. Useful tips and tools that don't seem to difficult can still save a dev many hours and improve their quality of life.
