-r alarm no longer seems to work well

Ok, the problem is somewhere earlier, and I can't tell much from what I see here. Can you paste the complete log of what happened when "the install gets lots of errors"?

Oh, and can you post the output of ls -l /usr/local/chroots/alarm?

There was quite a bit of code refactoring since then, I'm going to assume this is fixed (or broken in a different way...)
