Relevant discussion of IndicatorLights, the compatibility issues, and past history pertaining thereto is here:

Executive summary:

  • IndicatorLights and TextureReplacer once had a problem working together.
  • IndicatorLights fixed the problem by adding a TextureReplacer compatibility patch, many moons ago. Everything was working fine, for a long time.
  • At some point-- perhaps recently, though exactly when this started is unclear-- they stopped working together again. The symptom is the same as what it was last time: IndicatorLights meshes showing up as flat black when TR is installed.
  • As far as I can tell, nothing in IndicatorLights has changed in the last year or two that would affect this.
  • Therefore, the problem is presumably due to some change either in TR or in KSP itself.

It's unclear at this point whether this may be a TextureReplacer issue, or perhaps TR has made some non-backwardly-compatible change to the patch mechanism-- in the latter case, presumably IndicatorLights would need to update its TR compatibility patch, and this wouldn't actually be a TR issue per se.

This was probably caused by TR's texture unloading functionality that's been disabled in TR 3.3 and removed in 3.4.

Please check if the issue still persists.

Indicator Lights seem to work with the latest TR.
