Create companion linker tool (xlink80) to allow the following activities to be carried out with object files (.obj80) and library files (.lib80) used with V1.x of the xa80 software. Functions will include:

  • Allow one or more object files to be linked together to create a binary image intended for execution
  • Arrange the order of segments according to predefined rules
  • Make use of library files to supply missing procedures and data
