Ouma's Sweetcorn Soup 🌽

This was my favourite soup as a child:

Recipe

• 2 x onion
• 2 garlic cloves (not too much as it can easily over-power the flavour)
• 3 carrots
• slice of pumpkin (200g) or butternut squash
• 1 large tomato or 2 small
• 1.2kg sweetcorn; canned, frozen or fresh.

Made this again today. No salt so baby-friendly. Will take out and blend 5 baby-size portions for freezing in glass pots. Then will add a pinch of salt 🧂 for adults.

Should be enough for the kids that love it. 😋

We finished 4 litres today over 2 meals without any difficulty. 😋
2litres will be frozen and the other 2l consumed at lunch tomorrow 👌
It really doesn’t last long. 🤪

Made another batch of this soup today. But didn’t have Pumpkin so just added extra carrots. 🥕
