It seems that klog is only checking the rig mode when the band changes. On 60m we use USB. I have all the regular frequencies in memories. When I switch from an 80m frequency to a 60m freq the mode in klog changes correctly to USB however if I then change to a second 60m freq. it changes to the default mode for frequencies below 10MHz of LSB. I can only assume it is not getting the mode from the rig but assuming it is default once in a band!
In read only mode klog should get both mode and frequency together from the radio.
Alternatively the default could be corrected to use LSB below 10MHz except for 60m where it should be USB.

I haven't had time to dig deep yet - been using other logging methods. but the whole frequency text box and rig updating I have been having issues with in Linux
