Welcome to Angular-CLI to .NET Core Example

The information presented in this project illustrates an Angular front-end making a service call to a .NET Core backend.

To start the server while developing

In terminal,

dotnet watch run

(You can also run it within visual studio)

To start the transpilation and watching of Angular code updates while developing,

In terminal, within the src folder,

npm start

(actual code invoked is within package.json)

and then browse to http://localhost:4200

This project was generated with Angular CLI version 1.7.1.

Code scaffolding

Run ng generate component component-name to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|guard|interface|enum|module.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory. Use the -prod flag for a production build.

Running unit tests

Run ng test to execute the unit tests via Karma.

Running end-to-end tests

Run ng e2e to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor.
