Footer Z-Index causes footer to block access to down arrow click

The footer is 100% wide, and sits at a z-index of 1000, causing it to overlap the controls that are absolutely positioned in the right side.

I don't want to tinker with the reveal code, but setting a z-axis of 29 on the footer itself looks like it might solve this issue.
