Thank you for your advise. At the project's homepage there is a link to the
Apache 2 Licence but also we added the licence.txt file in to the repository.

Thanks a lot. This will help people that mirror your code to automatically
preserve the license. Btw. if you wanted to go all the way you could also add
the license to the beginning of all your (source) files as a comment, as
described here:

Sorry, I just saw that you grabbed the license out of apache itself? It's
mentioning a lot of components that I can't see in your repository:
