Since Java 7, you can use a diamond operator.

I think the line https://github.com/eclipse/lyo.designer/blob/4bcdcd4e08ae5869bd1a5dec4ff23c1f8c0a9688/org.eclipse.lyo.oslc4j.codegenerator/src/org/eclipse/lyo/oslc4j/codegenerator/services/resourcePropertyServices.mtl#L293 can be removed.
