Return code rc is over wrote by MQTTSNPacket_decode() function.

curdata += (rc = MQTTSNPacket_decode(curdata, len, &mylen)); /* read length */

should be

curdata +=  MQTTSNPacket_decode(curdata, len, &mylen); /* read length */
