i've just set up a couple of mailbox scanning tasks (one for pdf attachments, one for email body only; separated by imap folders, all works nicely) during which i got a bit confused over the buttons submit and cancel.
so when i submit a task (without errors) i see a green confirmation, but i am not redirected to the list. i actually have to click on cancel to get back to the list, so that's a bit counterintuitive.
also, when i click 'submit' multiple times i get multiple identical tasks. that is by idea ok, as it facilitates quick adding of multiple tasks. but the ui feedback is a bit meh.
i'm not entirely sure how to solve this, but maybe an explicit 'back to list' button would be less confusing.

Oh yes, this should really be improved! That a new task is added each time when pressing submit is actually not intentional and more a bug. But I think you're right that it is also quite useful. So I think adopting teh UI and making it a wanted feature is a good choice.
