❓ I can't find a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W - can I use a Pi Zero instead?
✅ Nope, it's not powerful enough to run the mt32-pi software.

❓ Do I need to use a fan?
✅ Most likely not, maybe except if you plan on running the Vortex86EX chip at its highest clock speed and keep the whole system in a closed case or in a very hot environment.

❓ Do I need to use/solder all components if I'm not interested in specific features?
✅ No, you can skip various parts;

Feature Required parts
Real-time clock BT1
PC speaker C8, R7, R8, R13, D4, Q1, JP1, SP1
Fan header P5
TTL serial P3
RS232 serial C24-C28, R10-R12, D1-D3, U6, P2
MT32/MIDI C7, C20, C21, C32, C33, R17-R21, R23-R25, J5, SW3, SW4, P4, GY-PCM5102, Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W
MicroSD C12, R1-R6, R27-R30, J3 - Note: R26 needs to be kept in place

❓ My USB mouse isn't working!
✅ Unfortunately, there seems to be issues with the OHCI (USB 1.1) stack, I'm still not sure if this is a software/BIOS miconfiguration/bug or a hardware issue in the Vortex86EX chip itself. EHCI (USB 2.0) works well though, so if you don't have a mouse that works when connected directly to one of the TinyLlama's USB ports, try connecting a USB 2.0 hub (doesn't have to be externally powered), and plug the mouse into that instead. It should work. Also, don't forget to run CTMOUSE in DOS (obviously)! :)

❓ Where can I buy a TinyLlama?
✅ Take a look here.

❓ Why "TinyLlama"?
✅ Because the system is tiny and llamas are cool!
