Nice simple fix 👏 What do you all think is the more permanent, eventual solution for this? That search bar acts like a sort of super-powered tail -f ./error.log | grep 'status 500'The filter would continue to be applied to the incoming stream and only show you incoming logs that matched the filter. Is that what we want to do, eventually? |
Yeah, I think that makes sense. When the user types something on the searchbox with livestream active, I think we should reset the list and show only entries that match their query, then stream new ones. |

Summary
in #64776 we found a mismatched state between what was in the search bar and what was showed in the log stream when Live stream was on. Aligning the states has proven tricky, so as a temporal solution we are going to disable the searchbox when live stream is on, to prevent the user from being in a broken state. This also aligns with the superdatepicker being disabled.
