Package search doesn't start until >3 characters are entered in the search box

What happens:

I try to search for the Url package by entering "url" and nothing happens

What I expected:

I see a list of retrieved packages containing the string "url"

A workaround:

search for "url " (note the space)

Note: in the above gif, it does show the Url package before I type "url " but that's only because it's already in my installed packages now.
