alt-codes

Insert alt codes using meta key.

Like many other editors you can insert Alt-Codes using alt key. Notice this will only works with numpad keys.

  • P.S. Inspired by Notepad++ preset behaviour.
  • P.S. Inspired by VSCode preset behaviour.

🔧 Usage

Insertion

If you want to enable insertion using alt key then you need to enable this.

(alt-codes-mode t)
;; or enabled globally.
(global-alt-codes-mode t)

Or you can call this function to insert it manually.

M-x alt-codes-insert

🔬 Development

To run the test locally, you will need the following tools:

Install all dependencies and development dependencies:

$ eask install-deps --dev

To test the package's installation:

$ eask package
$ eask install

To test compilation:

$ eask compile

🪧 The following steps are optional, but we recommend you follow these lint results!

The built-in checkdoc linter:

$ eask lint checkdoc

The standard package linter:

$ eask lint package
