Group several characters, so that you can see them all at once.
This feature will enable a separate tab aside Heroes, Wiki, FAQ, and About. You'll then be able to create a "group" and assign characters to it, both heroes and NPCs.
It will then provide a list just like in the Heroes tab, with only the characters visible that you selected. You'll also be able to edit the list after you created a group.
This is only the basic functionality. There are several additions planned:
We were thinking about this feature today in our game group and would really love it to get some order into our big collection of heroes. We would prefer a simple folder and/or label system to associate different heroes with different groups and/or players 👍
What do you think is the advantage of folders or labels over the "proposed solution"? The issue is that I could not provide any additional features if you just have simple folders or labels. It would need a dedicated interface. The proposed solution could also serve as labels. But you could maybe create your own in addition to that.
By the way, there is a dedicated issue for folders: #529! 🙈
EDIT: I could use the groups to serve as automatic folders in the character list view as well! This way, there would be a dedicated interface, but at the same time you would be able to organize your character list view.
Ah, it seems I simply did not search through the open feature requests thoroughly enoug. #529 goes more in the direction of what we were discussing in group. But I really like the idea of your EDIT, where the gm groups serve as automatic folders/labels in the character list view :)
