I just wanted to get out:
Thanks to all that are maintaining this wonderful crate. I was able to create a small front end for a server application I am working on, with ease.

I am really looking forward to using egui for the next 20 years, mostly because it is easy, fast and reliable. In combination with the ongoing developments for wasm / wasi, egui could be my go-to for fast-reacting UIs on the web and native.
